On the weekend I had a new project I wanted to start, I want to place small people into large scenes. or large people into small scenes.

Here are a few travel photos from a recent trip. we visited St Lucia inn the Caribbean, and Dubai in the UAE. both were fantastic places to visit, but were totally different in what they had to offer, St Lucia is a laid back tropical island whilst Dubai is a bustling brand new metropolis

  

The Seafire extravagansa was postponed this year due to Tropical Cyclone Debbie. so instead of April it was run in June

Recently I attended the Carnivale Night at Movieworld on the Gold coast, a great evening with entertainment every way you turn, and great food. the highlight of the night is the main street parade followed by the Guest artist singing on the main stage.
here are a few of the images I captured that night.

Early start this morning, I checked the weather report yesterday and it looked good.
I set off at 5:30 to take a few pictures at Currumbin rocks.
thinking I may be alone, ha, there were lots of other photographers, keep fitters, surfers.

I was very pleased with the first couple I have edited, but cleaning all the dust and hairs made me realise how long its been since I cleaned the camera.
so tonight I had to give it a good clean. I will know how good a job I did tommorrow when I try it out.
 but for now here are a couple I have edited.

Going through some older images I have taken I came across these, this was from a photoshoot in 2010, a slight edit to clean up the backgrounds and I was quite pleased with the look.

I then started to get a bit creative when I saw the next one, it was a bit of fun at the end of the shoot when we tried, 3 men jumping in unison, 2 were unusable but this one struck home, some major editing and a cape and buildings were needed.........

After this I found a portrait which leant itself to being modified as a boxer training in a home based gym, for this read GARAGE,  what do you think? is the blue or sepia toning the best?

Comicon, or Supernova visited the Gold coast recently.
I was there before the parade to catch some of the Fans dressed in their favourite character costumes.
lots of people had gone to a lot of trouble getting everything just right.
