I received a book I ordered the other day.
I placed the order on Wednesday, there was a problem with the layout and some words would be cut off, I received and e-mail within hours informing me of the problem and how to rectify.
I had it all fixed by Thursday lunchtime and sent it off again.
It arrived on my door step, Monday afternoon. In that time they had proof read it, printed and bound it and delivered it in an excellent presentation box. I was extremely impressed with their service and quality of product.

These were taken on an iphone showing the presentation box, and bubble wrapped book, and the layflat pages with the photo spread accross both pages. I ordered the 5"x 7"book so the panoramas had to be modified to fit the 5" x 14" format.

here are a few of the images in their native resolution 20"x 8"

well, today I decided to set up a studio in the garage, then take some shots like you see in adverts.
here is the set up I used, two constant lights and some black paper.
the images then needed a bit of a tweak in photoshop.
I have decided in future i need some more black paper to stand them on or a mirror. the plastic board i usd needed a lot of cleaning up in post .
here are some of the images I produced.
what do you think?
hopefully it inspires some of you to go out and give it a go.

for the final shot i suspended the sunglasses using fishing wire then edited it out afterwards, i'm not sure it was worth the effort. but it was good to experiment

After leaving Beijing we travelled to Shanghai, this is a beautiful city with the weather changing creating different moods.
Here are a few of the many faces of the shanghai river front, the Bund.
The left side of the river, Pudong is very modern and futuristic.
The right bank is very European, from the 1920s
